The septic tank is a dual chamber clarifier. The working volume of the plant is calculated to allow the water to remain in the plant for three days. The heavy fraction of the wastewater settles, the light fraction floats, and putrefaction and fermentation processes take place. In the last section, the last of the heavy particles are deposited and the treated water is directed to the infiltration field.

The septic tanks have been tested in a certified - notified laboratory and subjected to a comprehensive strength and performance test according to EN12566-1.
